Craig Moore's work of large format abstract paintings comes from an unrelenting passion and love of interaction with canvas, colour and form. 

He studied Fine Art at Lancaster & Bristol Universities and has exhibited in Australia as well as the UK and France. 

His process is to establish the energy of the painting through mark making and then to balance that vibrancy with a sense of calm, mainly through layered oil glazes, pastels, wax and oil varnish. The paintings are generally pulled between these two dialogues until an equilibrium is reached and the two can sit in balance. His paintings try to capture a sense of space and time, a moment of beauty and spirit.
